July 29 Papa Joe's Ponderins' Thought for Today
Trouble Trouble is a friend we all have around, he stays hidden sometimes but he’s around just the same. We all have to deal with him from time to time. Every thing seems to be going along fine then all of a sudden here comes trouble. We get upset, all bent out of shape frustrated and down right angry.
But, have you ever stopped and thought about your life? There is nothing that happens in your life or mine that either God brings to existent or He allows to happen. His thoughts are not our thoughts, they are higher than ours.
Isaiah 55:9 (KJV) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. When you are living for Jesus, everything that happens to you is for your good, even if you can’t see it at the time. Romans 8:28 (KJV) Look at the storms the disciples went through so Jesus could teach them and us lessons.
Folks listen, God knows what is going on and He is still in control, so stand firm and keep looking to Jesus.
