Patience What is patience anyway?
Patience: the state, quality, or fact of being patient; specif.
a) the will or ability to wait or endure without complaint
b) steadiness, endurance, or perseverance in the performance of a task.
Patience is something I have always been told I didn’t have much of.
Lets notice what the Word has to say about patience.
Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Just simply go and do what God tells us to do and not worry about what the world might say or think.
Romans teaches us that God has patience. Of course we already know that, just look how patient He has been with us. It also says be like minded, to me that means striving to be like Jesus.
Romans 15:5 (KJV) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: Have you ever though about what kind of condition we would be in if Jesus had as little patience as we do? Lets us work patiently toward perfection in Jesus Christ our Lord.
