CONCERT OF PRAYER TONIGHT AUGUST 16 FOR AWANA beginning at 6:00 pm. All adult participants in AWANA are strongly encouraged to attend this prayer service dedicated to pray for the success of the program this year.
COMMUNION & SUB SUNDAY NIGHT next Sunday August 23. Communion is an ordinance given by our Lord. An ordinance is a command given by Jesus so we will remember through symbols the salvation we have received. The cup symbolizes the blood of Jesus, and the bread his boken body offered on the cross. Make sure you observe communion next Sunday night.
MOTORSPORTS DAY AT DOUBLE BRANCH SUNDAY AUGUST 30 at 5:00 pm! Do you have any kind of redreation vehicle, classic car, ATV, Dirt Bike, Chopper, race car or anything else motorized you use for fun and recreation? Please bring it and show it off! AWANA STARTS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13 at 6:00 pm. Its time to really reach out to the children in the community now that 15 of our own children have made decisions for Christ. That's why we must encourage children and our neighbor's children to enroll. The emphasis is on the gospel, Bible memorization, rewards, and fun. ADULT AWANA STARTS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13 at 6:15 pm. Pastor Stewart-Allen facilitates a small group using the "ANSWERS IN GENESIS" DVD and worksheets. Bolster your confidence in creationism and equip yourself to defend why you believe God spoke and it was.
